According to their agency Pledis on the 29th, the album ‘17 IS RIGHT HERE,’ released on this day, is a compilation of SEVENTEEN’s past, present, and future. The album includes four new songs such as the title track ‘MAESTRO,’ hip-hop unit’s ‘LALALI,’ performance unit’s ‘Spell,’ and vocal unit’s ‘Cheongchun Changa (Youth Anthem),’ along with 28 of their past title tracks and the instrumental track ‘Akkinda (Inst.).’ Through this, SEVENTEEN plans to commemorate the nine years of their journey with CARAT (their fandom name) and promise to be together forever in their own space.
The title track ‘MAESTRO’ is a dance R&B genre song featuring an impressive intense piano sound intro. The lyrics convey the message, “Let’s gather as diverse individuals, conduct our own world, lead the flow, and become the best.”
Earlier, SEVENTEEN surprised fans by performing the new song ‘MAESTRO’ at the ‘SEVENTEEN TOUR ‘FOLLOW’ AGAIN’ held at Seoul World Cup Stadium on the 27th and 28th, receiving explosive responses. The performance, which used a conductor’s baton as a prop, showcased each member’s unique personality in the music and elevated the audience’s heartbeat with the rising beat, earning great acclaim.
Right after the ‘MAESTRO’ stage, the members said, “We renewed our determination to show the ‘intense SEVENTEEN’ once again,” and described the performance as “legendary.” Dino expressed confidence, saying, “Is there anything we can’t do? We have to succeed,” which thrilled the fans.

The response to SEVENTEEN’s unit new song stages was also enthusiastic. The diverse new songs, including the hip-hop swag and relaxed vibe of ‘LALALI,’ the drowsy and dreamy performance of ‘Spell,’ and the J-rock style ‘Cheongchun Changa (Youth Anthem)’ praising the first encounter with youth, all heightened anticipation for the best album ‘17 IS RIGHT HERE.’
Since their debut, SEVENTEEN has built a reputation as a ‘self-producing idol,’ and they rolled up their sleeves for the new songs as well. SEVENTEEN’s album producer Woozi participated in writing and composing all four new songs. Members such as S.Coups, Wonwoo, The8, Mingyu, Vernon, and Dino also contributed to the lyrics of the unit songs.
Along with the release of the best album, SEVENTEEN is communicating with CARATs worldwide by holding the ‘SEVENTEEN TOUR ‘FOLLOW’ AGAIN’ at massive stadiums in Korea and Japan. The tour, which started on April 30-31 at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium, will continue through Seoul World Cup Stadium and then proceed to Osaka Yanmar Stadium Nagai on May 18-19 and Kanagawa Nissan Stadium on May 25-26.
Notably, Kanagawa Nissan Stadium is the largest concert venue in Japan, accommodating over 70,000 spectators per show. SEVENTEEN, who sold out all 23 performances including fan meetings and tours last year with a cumulative audience exceeding 10 million, is expected to firmly establish themselves as a ‘mega stadium artist’ through this tour.
SEVENTEEN will also appear at major European music festivals. In June, they will be the first K-pop boy group to perform on the main stage of the UK’s largest music festival, Glastonbury, and in September, they will participate as headliners at Germany’s Lollapalooza Berlin.
SEVENTEEN expressed, “The ones who made it possible for us to stand on such big stages are none other than CARATs,” and added, “We will work hard to live up to those expectations and perform impressively.”
