On the same day, Mayor Hong posted on his Facebook, "If you don't even know the difference between a star and a planet and act recklessly, you will suffer a great loss."
He also said, "Watching Chinese opera face-changing, I think of Korean politicians," adding, "Although many of them were ousted in this general election while changing their faces several times a day, Korean politics is still a stage for face-changing."
Although he did not explicitly reveal what the star and planet represent in the post, it is interpreted that the star refers to President Yoon Seok-youl and the planet to former People Power Party Emergency Committee Chairman Han Dong-hoon, given Mayor Hong's recent criticisms of Han.
Previously, Mayor Hong had consistently posted sharp criticisms of Han on his social media platforms, including Facebook, saying things like "He played presidential games while taking selfies" and "He became a deposed crown prince after defying his lord."
