‘Pororo·Tayo Content Theme Park Building in Wolmido’ Opens

On May 1st, the ‘Pororo & Tayo Content Theme Park Building in Wolmido,’ filled with the joy of ‘empathy,’ will open anew in Wolmido as the largest indoor building-type theme park in Korea, spanning 4,200 pyeong.

This family theme park, centered around characters from the animation ‘Porong Porong Pororo,’ also known as the children’s president or ‘Ppotongryeong,’ supports children’s emotional growth and provides a play space where they can nurture their curiosity-filled dreams.

Pororo & Tayo Content Theme Park Building in Wolmido (hereafter ‘Pororo Theme Park Wolmido’) is a theme park where the entire family can enjoy all the content from the 2nd to the 5th floors under the theme of ‘empathy.’ All the content within the theme park is diversely composed of attractions, experiences, and performances that parents and children can enjoy together.

▲ On the 5th floor, visitors can experience interactive programs that combine education and play, such as the ‘Train of Love’ that runs carrying memories, a fun aptitude test and physical examination to check children’s growth and development data and obtain their own license at the systematic entertainment ‘License Center,’ and the ‘Pororo is a Pilot’ airplane attraction that feels like flying in the sky. ▲ On the 4th floor, the ‘Tongtong Theater’ plans to offer unique live sing-along shows exclusive to Pororo Park and dazzling magic shows to provide enjoyment. Additionally, there is a space recreating the village where Pororo and his friends live, allowing visitors to experience the setting seen only on TV in real life. ▲ On the 3rd floor, visitors can enjoy 11 thrilling attractions such as a flume ride, Viking ship, and carousel that parents and children can ride together. ▲ On the 2nd floor, an interactive media trampoline and the Pororo & Tayo Empathy Culture Center are expected to be established.

A representative of the Pororo Park brand stated, “Although many family tourists have visited the Incheon Station area including Wolmido and Chinatown, there was a lack of spaces where parents and children could empathize and enjoy together.” They added, “If typical kids’ theme parks assign fixed roles to parents and children, Pororo Theme Park Wolmido is designed so that all content can be experienced and empathized with together by both children and parents, making it a large indoor space where visitors can enjoy themselves all day without noticing the time, satisfying enjoyable experiences for people of all ages and genders.” Furthermore, they said, “In celebration of Family Month, we will ensure a safe and happy enjoyment for everyone, from adults to children.”
