Chairman Gu visited the LS Electric booth participating in this exhibition to encourage employees and visited booths of global companies such as Microsoft (MS), Google, Siemens, and Schneider to directly experience advanced technologies in the energy industry. This was to prepare for the upcoming era of artificial intelligence (AI), build self-sustainability, and seek new growth opportunities for the group.

At the event, Chairman Gu said, "It is impressive that leading global companies are showcasing various future-oriented new technologies and creating a new innovation ecosystem in the era of energy transition." He added, "I confirmed that LS Electric's technological capabilities are not behind those of leading global companies," and "I am confident that it will establish itself as a category killer dominating the smart energy market."

He also urged, "With the advent of the electrification era due to artificial intelligence (AI) and carbon neutrality, our LS must continue to maintain a competitive edge in the market based on advanced electric control technology," and emphasized, "We must lead global energy industry innovation."

Earlier this year, Chairman Gu visited the world's largest electronics and IT exhibition 'CES 2024' held in Las Vegas, USA, and emphasized creating LS's unique future innovation technology capable of preparing for the AI storm. Last month, he also attended 'InterBattery 2024' and stated that by focusing on the distribution board (battery, electric vehicle, semiconductor) ecosystem, the group would consolidate business capabilities and create synergy to prepare for the future.

LS Group is expanding its distribution board business. To prepare for the increase in global power consumption due to AI commercialization, LS Cable & System, LS Electric, LS E-Link, and others are striving to strengthen advanced technologies in the electrical and power sectors.
