'Pamyoh' Jang Jae-hyun Follows Moon Ji-won of 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' to Nurture Creators

Recruitment of Trainees for the Creative Talent Partnership Project by KOCCA

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency are recruiting 300 trainees to participate in the Content Creative Talent Accompaniment Project until the 7th of next month. It is the largest content talent development project in Korea. Through one-on-one mentoring with experts, it develops the capabilities of prospective creators and helps them enter the industry. Successful cases include director Jang Jae-hyun of the film "Pamyoh," writer Moon Ji-won of the drama "Extraordinary Attorney Woo," writer Kim Min-seok of the drama "Juvenile Justice," and actor Koo Kyo-hwan of the dramas "D.P." and "Parasite: The Grey."

The recruitment fields are broadcasting/story, games, music, performance, webtoons, and animation. The project plans to give preference to creators who wish to expand opportunities for artists with disabilities and develop barrier-free related projects. The mentoring program will be conducted at fifteen platform institutions. Mentors include producer Lee Wol-yeon of the drama "The Red Sleeve," executive producer Han Jae-hoon of the drama "King the Land," music director Kang Dong-yoon of the drama "Sweet Home," and writer Han Jeong-seok of the musical "Showman_The Fourth Stand-in of a Dictator."

The Korea Creative Content Agency selects outstanding projects from graduates to support continuous creative activities. They will increase support projects by field and provide commercialization support funds to promote market entry. Director Cho Hyun-rae stated, "This talent development project has discovered 3,669 creative talents over the past 12 years," and added, "We will support graduates in various ways to become leaders in the global content industry."
