Taekwang Tisis 'Keunhuimang' Receives Prime Minister's Commendation for Improving Jobs for People with Disabilities

Taekwang Group's infrastructure and leisure affiliate, TCIS, announced on the 25th that the standard workplace for the disabled, 'Keun Heemang,' received the Prime Minister's Commendation in recognition of its contribution to improving employment for people with disabilities. Park Ji-yeon, head of the management support team at Keun Heemang, received the award for establishing a work environment where employees can have long-term tenure.

They introduced a job rotation system that allows employees to find their aptitude and feel a sense of fulfillment by rotating through seven positions including delivery, convenience store, cafe, nail art, healthcare, environment, and shoe repair. They also developed new jobs to expand employment opportunities and managed a triangular care system connecting the workplace, families, and welfare centers to motivate employees and encourage long-term service.

The retention rate of Keun Heemang employees with over five years of service is 97%. Keun Heemang plans to continue efforts to qualitatively improve jobs for people with disabilities while also striving to create new jobs. Through new hires, they plan to expand the workforce by 60% compared to the current size.
