Lotte World Tower and Mall Transformed into Large Pokemon Town

World's First Lapras and Pikachu Large Art Balloon Exhibition

Lotte Property & Development announced on the 25th that from the 26th of this month until the 19th of next month, Lotte World Tower and Mall in Jamsil, Seoul will be transformed into a large-scale Pok?mon Town. The company explained that this is part of Lotte Group's content business project, "Pok?mon Town 2024 with Lotte."

Pok?mon Town 2024 with Lotte is the first content business project conducted at the group-wide level, involving 10 affiliates including Lotte Holdings, Lotte Property & Development, Lotte Wellfood, Lotte GRS, Lotte Department Store, and Hotel Lotte. This event, in collaboration with Songpa District Office, gathers Pok?mon-related content such as exhibitions, pop-up stores, experiences, and viewings.

During the event period, a giant Pok?mon art balloon approximately 16 meters tall featuring Lapras and Pikachu will be displayed at Seokchon Lake East Lake. The arena plaza in front of Lotte World Tower will be transformed into the "Pok?mon Smile Plaza." Various booths from Lotte affiliates will be set up around several Pok?mon sculptures, including Pikachu. On the first floor atrium of Lotte World Mall, a pop-up store where visitors can find Pok?mon merchandise will be open. The Original Art MD offers limited-edition products available only during the event period.

For two days starting from the 11th of next month, a Pok?mon parade will take place around the arena plaza. The parade will be held twice a day (3:30 PM and 6:30 PM). At the Media Cube in front of Lotte World Tower, media art featuring the story of Pok?mon Town will be broadcast.
