Selected by American consumers, dominating top 1-3 in major categories

LG Electronics swept the top three positions in major categories in the 'Best Washer of the Year' evaluation selected by American consumers.
According to industry sources on the 25th, in the recently announced '2024 Best Washer' evaluation by the leading U.S. consumer media 'Consumer Reports,' LG Electronics' products ranked 1st to 3rd in the drum washer, top-loading washer, and agitator (bar washer) washer categories.

Consumer Reports' rankings are determined through surveys of consumers who actually use various products sold in the U.S., including home appliances, and rigorous in-house testing. The rankings serve as an important reference for American consumers when choosing products.
In announcing this ranking, Consumer Reports praised LG washers, stating that they "dominate the Consumer Reports evaluation by consistently delivering excellent washing performance, water efficiency, and energy efficiency."
LG Electronics' drum washers recorded an average overall score of 87 points, sweeping the top three positions. In particular, the product that took first place (model WM3900HWA) received the highest ratings in both owner satisfaction and reliability.
All LG drum washers ranked 1st to 3rd were designated as 'Green Choice' products by Consumer Reports. Since 2021, Consumer Reports has awarded the Green Choice label to top-tier products after directly testing water efficiency, energy efficiency, brand reliability, and the softness of laundry after washing.
LG Electronics' top-loading washers and agitator washers also took 1st to 3rd places respectively. Based on its differentiated core component technology called 'CoreTech,' LG Electronics also ranked first in Consumer Reports' 'Best Washer and Dryer Set' evaluations, including drum washer and dryer sets, top-loading washer and dryer sets, and agitator washer and dryer sets. In the drum washer and dryer set category, LG Electronics' products occupied all positions from 1st to 6th.
This announcement proved LG Electronics' dominance in the U.S., a representative premium home appliance market. The success of the hybrid washer-dryer WashTower and WashCombo played a significant role. The one-body washer-dryer WashTower, which vertically combines a washer and dryer in a tower form, has been recognized for its convenience and established itself as a steady seller in the U.S. market. To quickly respond to increasing demand, LG Electronics additionally built a WashTower production line at its Tennessee factory and has been operating a local production system since June last year. The all-in-one product WashCombo, which allows users to complete drying without removing laundry after washing with just one press of the start button, has gained great popularity since its launch in the U.S. market last January.
