The 4th 'Small Business Owners' Wise Questions and Practical Answers Policy Council' Held

To promote the digital transformation of small business owners, a collaborative model connecting private companies, small business owners, and the government will be established.
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced that Minister Oh Young-joo held the 4th 'Small Business Owners' Wise Questions and Practical Answers Policy Council' on the 25th at the 11st Street headquarters with platform company representatives, small business owners who have pioneered online sales channels and adopted smart technologies. The Wise Questions and Practical Answers Policy Council is a field communication policy brand led by Minister Oh Young-joo, based on the principle that 'Our problems have answers in the field (Wise Questions and Practical Answers)'.
At this policy council, presentations were made by the government and platform companies to establish a collaborative model connecting private companies, small business owners, and the government. First, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups reviewed the achievements of digital transformation policies for small business owners and presented the policy direction of 'establishing a collaborative model with the private sector so that any small business owner can utilize advanced digital technologies in management.'
Oh Young-joo, Minister of SMEs and Startups, is responding to the requests of small business owners at the '4th Policy Council for Practical Solutions for Small Business Owners' held on the 25th at the 11th Street headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul.
Next, Ahn Jung-eun, CEO of 11st Street, a domestic native e-commerce platform, presented on 'Collaboration and Co-prosperity Plans between Platform Companies and Small Business Owners.' 11st Street stated that it will support small business owners to pioneer not only domestic online sales channels but also overseas sales channels in collaboration with the government.
Kim Dong-ho, CEO of Korea Credit Data, which holds data on 2 million small business owners, also presented on 'Collaboration Plans Utilizing Small Business Owners' Management Data.' Korea Credit Data proposed a collaboration plan that can solve problems faced by small business owners through real-time data analysis by utilizing data assets accumulated from small business owners' sales activities. Collaboration and policy utilization in the data field have been frequently requested by small business owners in the field for securing regular customers and efficient inventory management.
Minister Oh said, “Digital transformation is an important means to strengthen the competitiveness of small business owners,” and “So far, the government has focused on the distribution and expansion of digital transformation for small business owners, but now, based on accumulated achievements and data analysis, we will establish an advanced model together with the private sector so that digital transformation can actually help small business owners grow and reduce management costs.”
Minister Oh also said, “In particular, through the establishment of a support system connecting private companies, small business owners, and the government, private companies will discover small business owners with growth potential and new added value, and small business owners will have opportunities to secure competitiveness by pioneering overseas sales channels through online platforms and achieving management efficiency through data analysis.”
