Workshop for Participating School Principals and Instructor Training Held
National Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-su) consecutively held the ‘Principal Workshop for Schools Participating in the Neulbom School Support Project’ and the ‘Preliminary Instructor Training for the Neulbom School 1st Grade Customized Program Operation Project.’
The Gyeongsang Region Education Donation Hub Support Center at Pukyong National University (Center Director Lee Sang-gil) held the ‘Principal Workshop for Schools Participating in the Neulbom School Support Project’ on the 19th at the Westin Chosun Hotel Busan.
This event, aimed at systematically operating the Neulbom School 1st Grade Customized Program, was attended by 25 principals and vice principals from 23 elementary schools in the Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongnam, Daegu, and Gyeongbuk regions, and included program guidance and presentations on operation cases.
Presentations on the day included ‘2024 Neulbom School Operation Directions’ by Kim Bo-kyung, Senior Researcher at the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity; ‘Alpha Generation Speaking Skills Level-Up Program Nol-it’ by Choi Da-eun, CEO of Nol-it Co., Ltd.; ‘2023·2024 Neulbom School Educational Donation Model School Operation Cases’ by Wang Seo-hyun, Principal of Seokpo Elementary School in Busan; and ‘Educational Donation Program Cases (1st Grade Psychological and Emotional Program Development)’ by Lee Ae-young and Lee Jeong-hee, Directors of the Busan Integrated Psychological Counseling Center.
Prior to this, in March, the Gyeongsang Region Education Donation Hub Support Center at Pukyong National University also held a preliminary training program for 35 instructors participating in the Neulbom School 1st Grade Customized Program Operation Project at the same venue.
Since being selected as the operating institution for the ‘Neulbom School 1st Grade Customized Program Operation Project’ this year, Pukyong National University has been working to discover and expand customized programs for 1st grade elementary school students by establishing a public-private participatory Neulbom School support system under the management of the Gyeongsang Region Education Donation Hub Support Center.
