Famous Hollywood actor Michael Fassbender, well known for his role as Magneto in the 'X-Men' series, has become a hot topic after being spotted eating ganjang gejang at a Korean restaurant.

On the 24th, numerous online communities and social networking services (SNS) shared eyewitness accounts that Michael Fassbender visited a ganjang gejang restaurant located in Paju. It was reported that Fassbender visited the restaurant together with film director Na Hong-jin, known for directing movies such as 'The Chaser' and 'The Wailing'.
The restaurant posted on Instagram, "Hollywood star Fassbender visited our store and ate ganjang gejang and spicy crab stew," along with photos of them dining. In the released photos, Fassbender is seen eating with plastic gloves on his hands. There is also a picture capturing him smiling brightly with his companions during the meal. It was reported that Director Na was seated opposite Fassbender at the time.
Netizens who heard the news reacted with comments such as, "I can't believe they went to eat ganjang gejang together," "It must have been very unfamiliar to a foreigner, but I wonder if he enjoyed it," and "I'm curious about the review."
Previously, Michael Fassbender was cast in director Na Hong-jin's new film 'HOPE'. This is Na's first new work since 2016's 'The Wailing', a mystery thriller depicting the story of residents fighting against mysterious attacks starting in the isolated village of Hopohang.
