Visit to Vocational High School (Jang Young Sil High School) and University Job Plus Center (Kookmin University)

According to the Ministry of Strategy and Finance, Deputy Prime Minister Choi visited Sejong Jang Young-sil High School, a vocational high school, on the 22nd, and the Korea University University Job Plus Center on the 24th to listen to policy proposals from young people and made these remarks.
At the Korea University University Job Plus Center, Deputy Prime Minister Choi experienced a virtual environment driving simulator and cars designed and manufactured by students, together with the Future Car Project Group.
Deputy Prime Minister Choi said, "Although youth employment indicators have recently improved, many young people still face difficulties preparing for employment," adding, "We will provide tailored services early to young people facing employment challenges, such as unemployed graduates and those with prolonged job searches, centered around 120 University Job Plus Centers nationwide and 102 Employment Welfare Plus Centers."
He also said, "Creating conditions that allow the future generation of youth to smoothly enter quality jobs is the starting point for improving social mobility," and added, "We are directly listening to the concerns and ideas of young people to discover policy tasks that they can feel recently." He further stated, "We will refine the vivid voices from the field into good policies and actively support the challenges of young people."
At Jang Young-sil High School, he toured the major practice sites and participated in practical training in food service cooking and health nursing with students. Deputy Prime Minister Choi said, "We will strengthen support for employment and entrepreneurship to meet the rapidly changing industrial environment."
