Shake Shack The Exchange TRX is located on the first floor of The Exchange TRX Mall, a shopping mall in TRX, the financial and shopping hub of Kuala Lumpur.

The interior of the store is decorated using Meranti wood, a representative wood species of Malaysia, for the ceiling and pillars. Inspired by Malaysia’s rich local craft traditions, patterns resembling woven wooden baskets were used to emphasize a cultural bond with the region. Additionally, the store’s exterior walls are adorned with murals by Malaysian illustrator Shu Yee. Using Shake Shack’s slogan ‘Stand for Something Good’ as the theme, various traditional Malaysian crafts and cultural elements were incorporated to create a warm and lively atmosphere.

At Shake Shack The Exchange TRX, the signature shake ‘Bunga Raya,’ inspired by Malaysia’s national flower, the hibiscus, is offered. This shake features hibiscus jelly, vanilla frozen custard, dragon fruit, palm sugar, and coconut crumble, symbolizing Malaysia’s rich culinary culture. In addition, a limited-edition signature concrete called ‘TRXopical Park,’ made with tropical Malaysian fruits such as pineapple and dragon fruit, is also available.

An SPC Group representative said, "The opening of The Exchange TRX in Malaysia is an achievement made through a partnership with the U.S. Shake Shack, based on successful operations in Korea and Singapore," adding, "On the launch day, more than 600 people lined up before the store opened, and the store is receiving great response with an average of over 3,000 customers daily."

Meanwhile, since opening the first Korean store in Seoul in July 2016, SPC Group currently operates a total of 26 stores, with the ‘Gangnam store’ being recorded as the highest-grossing store worldwide. In Singapore, since opening the first store in 2019, SPC Group has opened 10 stores in key locations such as Orchard Road, Neil Road, and Gardens by the Bay. In Malaysia, they plan to open more than 10 Shake Shack stores by 2031.
