2024 New Products and Core AI TV Technologies Unveiled
Samsung Electronics announced on the 24th that it held a tech seminar in Bangkok, Thailand, showcasing core AI TV technologies such as the 2024 Neo QLED 8K and Samsung OLED.
Since 2012, Samsung Electronics has hosted tech seminars in major global regions to introduce new TV products and technologies to media and experts in the video and audio fields.
The tech seminar held in the Southeast Asia region this time allows attendees to experience ▲image quality upscaling ▲AI-based customized screen settings ▲Samsung OLED's 'Glare Free' technology ▲and the frame-type speaker 'Music Frame.'

The 2024 Neo QLED 8K is equipped with the 'NQ8 AI 3rd generation' processor, which features 512 neural networks?8 times more than the previous year?and a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) that is twice as fast, upscaling low-resolution videos to 8K quality.
The 2024 Samsung OLED applies the 'OLED Glare Free' technology certified by the U.S. safety certification body 'UL,' reducing screen light reflection to provide a clear picture and immersive viewing experience.
The new lifestyle product, the frame-type speaker 'Music Frame,' allows users to insert desired photos into a detachable photo frame, enabling it to be used like a picture frame.
Meanwhile, 'Samsung Knox' applied to Samsung TVs obtained the 'Common Criteria' certification in February, further strengthening TV security standards in both software and hardware aspects.
Samsung Electronics held a European tech seminar in Frankfurt, Germany, last February and plans to sequentially conduct tech seminars in other countries such as Latin America in the future.
Kim Yong-jae, Vice President of Samsung Electronics' Visual Display Business Division, said, "Through the tech seminar, we will be able to introduce Samsung AI TV's core technologies to the world," adding, "We are committed not only to AI TV technologies differentiated from competitors but also to protecting customers' diverse personal information."
