Apple "Event on the 7th of Next Month"... New iPad Model Expected to Launch

World Developer Conference (WWDC) 2024 to be Held Before June

Apple is reported to be launching a new iPad next month.

Apple announced on the 23rd (local time) that it will hold a special online event on May 7.

Apple did not disclose specific details about the event, but the IT industry is anticipating the release of a new iPad. Earlier last month, foreign media reported that Apple’s partners were expanding production aiming to launch a new iPad in early May.

According to Bloomberg, the upcoming iPad Pro and iPad Air are expected to have improved features compared to previous models.

The iPad Pro model will feature a clearer Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) display and a faster M3 chip. A newly designed Magic Keyboard and Air Pencil will also be added. The iPad Air model is expected to include a 12.9-inch screen option for the first time.

The new iPad launch event will be held ahead of Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on June 10. Apple is expected to showcase its own artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities at this event.
