Jeonju International Film Festival Organizing Committee Co-hosts... 9 Organizations, 200 People, Over 30 Equipment Units
The Jeonbuk Provincial Police Agency (Chief Im Byeong-suk) announced on the 23rd that it conducted a joint anti-terrorism drill with related agencies at the Korean Sori Culture Center, co-hosted with the Jeonju International Film Festival Organizing Committee (Chairman Woo Beom-gi).

According to the Jeonbuk Police, this drill was conducted as part of safety activities for the "25th Jeonju International Film Festival," held from May 1 to 10. Over 200 personnel from nine organizations, including the Jeonbuk Provincial Police Agency, the National Intelligence Service Jeonbuk Branch, Jeonbuk Fire Headquarters, and the 35th Infantry Division, along with more than 30 pieces of equipment, were mobilized.
The drill simulated various scenarios such as drone and vehicle ramming attacks, fire and explosions, firearm and hostage terrorism, as well as crowd control measures in mass gathering situations.
Im Byeong-suk, Chief of the Jeonbuk Provincial Police Agency, stated, "We conducted joint drills among agencies to prepare for diverse and complex situations. We will enhance crisis management and response capabilities to prevent terrorism and do our best to ensure the safety of residents through active on-site responses in the event of a crisis."
