Kim Eo-jun Buys Chungjeongno Office Building for 7 Billion Won
Jeon Yeo-ok: "Leftists' Traits Are Luxurious Living, Designer Goods, Foreign Cars"
Broadcaster Kim Eo-jun, who is the CEO of 'Ddanzi Group Co., Ltd.', is reported to have purchased a building worth about 7 billion KRW located in Chungjeongno 3-ga, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, while former Saenuri Party (predecessor of the People Power Party) lawmaker Jeon Yeo-ok said, "Now is an era where leftists make a tremendous amount of money."
On the 22nd, former lawmaker Jeon opened her remarks on her YouTube channel by saying, "Kim Eo-jun spent 7 billion KRW to buy a building, and it is said that this building is worth 10 billion KRW."
She said, "When I used to broadcast in Chungjeongno, I often deliberately walked to Gwanghwamun Station to take the subway," adding, "About 4 to 5 years ago, Kim Eo-jun held a public broadcast of 'Naneun Ggomsuda (NaGgomSu).' It was noon at that time. Women and men who looked like unemployed people were lined up. Judging by their ages, they were between their 20s and 40s."
She continued, "(At that age) isn't it the prime time to work and earn money? From my experience, money should be earned until your 40s. After your 50s, you manage that money. There is a time to make money," adding, "But they came to watch Kim Eo-jun's broadcast in the bright daylight." She added, "If this is the future of South Korea, it is dreadful."
In particular, former lawmaker Jeon claimed in the broadcast, "These days, power, luxury lifestyle, luxury brands, and foreign cars have become characteristics of leftists. It is said that Kim Eo-jun only wears luxury brands," and "Moreover, his favorite hotel is the Hyatt, and his favorite drink is Dom P?rignon, isn't it?" She added, "Kim Eo-jun's residence is also an extremely luxurious house."
Meanwhile, 'Ddanzi Group,' led by Kim Eo-jun, purchased the office building and attached land, which they had been renting for several hundred million KRW annually since 2016, under the corporation's name in September last year. The building, completed in 1970, is a five-story structure with a total area of 1,285㎡, and the purchase price was 7.32538 billion KRW. It appears that Ddanzi Group took out a loan of about 7 billion KRW during the building purchase process. According to the registry, the Industrial Bank of Korea set a mortgage on Ddanzi Group as the debtor in November last year. The maximum claim amount is 8.4 billion KRW.
