The new slogan will replace "Dream, Design, Play," which has been used for the past 10 years since 2014.
The foundation explained, "Amazing Tomorrow embodies our commitment to delivering experiences that astonish citizens and foreigners alike through DDP’s futuristic building design resembling a spaceship, advanced construction technology, and cutting-edge content."
Additionally, on the 26th, a commemorative forum and ceremony titled "Amazing Tomorrow, Dreaming of Seoul’s Amazing Future" will be held.
Lectures are planned from artist Kang I-yeon of "Connect, BTS," Park Hee-yoon, head of HDC Hyundai Development Company and author of "Buildings That Changed Tokyo," and Lee Yong-chan, a marketing master who participated in developing the new slogan.
The commemorative forum and ceremony will be broadcast live on the foundation’s official YouTube channel (@ddpseoul). Those wishing to attend in person can apply through the DDP website.
An exhibition titled "DDP 10th Anniversary Commemorative Poster Exhibition" will also be held, showcasing works by 20 domestic and international designers who have been connected with DDP, including Jang Julien, Stefan Sagmeister, Yoon Ho-seop, and Han Myung-soo.
Over the past decade, DDP has hosted prestigious global brand events and art exhibitions such as Chanel and Tim Burton, providing opportunities for industrial development to domestic companies and unprecedented design and art cultural experiences to citizens.
Lee Kyung-don, CEO of the Seoul Design Foundation, said, "It has been 10 years since DDP was established around the aging Dongdaemun Stadium and Pungmul Market area. The region has regained vitality, and the building has become a landmark representing Seoul. We will continue to present content that allows citizens to experience an amazing future."
