'Korean Beauty' Presented at Deokseogung Dondeokjeon

Korea National University of Cultural Heritage Exhibition 'Our Shining Youth'

Korea National University of Cultural Heritage will hold a special exhibition titled "Our Shining Youth - Invitation from Korea National University of Cultural Heritage" at Deoksugung Dondeokjeon from the 27th of this month to the 5th of next month. This exhibition showcases the educational and research achievements planned to coincide with the Spring Palace Culture Festival. It displays works completed after enduring a period of perseverance. Featured are traditional cosmetics developed in collaboration with the Cosmax Group called Hwabyeop Ongju, new works by the obsidian artist capturing Korean beauty titled "Hwabyeop Ongju's Adornment," and products created by students of the Traditional Culture Education Center. Visitors can also participate in hands-on activities such as making lip balm using natural pigments to understand the royal makeup techniques of the Joseon dynasty, and dressing various characters in Hanbok.

Kang Kyunghwan, President of Korea National University of Cultural Heritage, said, "It is meaningful to be able to convey the beauty of Korea to many domestic and international tourists visiting Deoksugung during the Palace Culture Festival."
