Busan City appointed singer Jeong Seo-ju as the ambassador for the city's communication campaign.

Busan City Appoints Mistrot 3 'No.1 Singer Jeong Seo-ju' as Communication Campaign Ambassador Lee Joon-seung, Deputy Mayor for Administrative Affairs, presenting a plaque of appointment and expressing gratitude to singer Jung Seo-joo, who was appointed as the promotional ambassador for the city communication campaign.

The appointment ceremony was held at City Hall on the morning of the 22nd, where Deputy Mayor Lee Jun-seung presented the appointment plaque and expressed his gratitude.

Singer Jeong Seo-ju, who was appointed as the ambassador, is from Suyeong-gu, Busan, and was born in 2008. She has been actively pursuing her career as a singer, notably winning first place in the popular trot competition TV program 'Miss Trot 3'.

For the next two years, as the communication campaign ambassador, she will engage in various promotional activities related to the campaign, including filming policy promotional videos, aiming to broaden communication with citizens. Especially since Jeong Seo-ju is 17 years old this year, it is expected that she will communicate in a way that resonates with Busan’s future generation and widely promote various aspects of city administration to young people.

The city is promoting various communication campaigns to effectively publicize its policies.

Following last year, this year Busan City will continue campaigns such as the urban pride discovery campaign ‘Busan Vibe’ and the policy interest enhancement campaign ‘Busan? Busan!’ to become a city where citizens participate and communicate actively.

Jeong Seo-ju said, “I am proud to be appointed as the ambassador for Busan City’s communication campaign, and as an ambassador, I will work even harder to shine a light on Busan.”

Deputy Mayor Lee Jun-seung stated, “We sincerely thank Jeong Seo-ju, who has been busy as a popular singer after winning first place in the popular trot competition program, for accepting the role of communication campaign ambassador out of love for her hometown Busan. We hope she will inform many young people in Busan about the city’s policies and showcase Busan’s charm from the same perspective.”
