Muan-gun Reopens Namak Park Golf Course After Winter Closure

Improvement of Convenience Including Lawn and Facility Repairs During Winter Closure

Namak Park Golf Course in Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do, will resume full operation from the 23rd after a two-month winter closure.


According to the county on the 23rd, Namak Park Golf Course was newly opened in November 2022. Located in Namak New Town on a 18,802㎡ site with 18 holes, it offers convenient accessibility, a pleasant clubhouse, and various amenities. It has established itself as a premium park golf course in the southwestern region, attracting about 45,000 visitors annually.

During the winter closure, the golf course significantly improved its facilities by installing grass protection mats on walkways based on user feedback. Additionally, drainage facilities were enhanced to improve water runoff, and thorough preparations such as grass mowing and fertilization were made for reopening.


Kang Myung-su, head of the New Town Support Group, said, “Since its opening, Namak Park Golf Course has been loved and used by many residents, becoming known as the top park golf destination in the province. We will provide a safe environment so that members of the 17 local club associations and residents can enjoy healthy leisure activities.”
