SK C&C Ensures Safety in Manufacturing Industry Sites with AI

On the 23rd, SK C&C launched the manufacturing-specialized artificial intelligence (AI) safety, health, and environment (SHE) platform 'iFacts SHE.'

iFacts SHE is a platform that integrates various digital automation technologies to implement AI functions throughout the manufacturing SHE work processes.

With features specialized for work sites, it includes ▲'Safety Management' supporting the issuance of safety work permits and improvement activities ▲'Accident Management' for preparing against disaster and near-miss accidents ▲'Process Safety Management' to prevent major industrial accidents ▲'Chemical Substance Management' for checking chemical inventory and regulatory information and conducting prior reviews ▲'Environmental Management' for managing air and water quality as well as waste.

iFacts SHE helps prevent accidents from fires, explosions, and hazardous material leaks around business sites and reduces related risks. To this end, it has solutionized the 12 key elements of Process Safety Management (PSM), a core function related to process safety in manufacturing plants. Workers can receive the latest information for preparing work risk assessments and on-site risk evaluations.

The 'Integrated Disaster Prevention' function, which applies AI technology, has also been enhanced. Using AI technology, it collects and analyzes various unstructured data related to accidents to detect and warn of potential accidents that may occur within the workplace in advance.
