Gyeongbuk Technopark is holding the "2nd Youth Startup Bootcamp" on the 22nd at the Kumho Neighbor Village Support Center, attended by youth startup companies, relocated companies, and scale-up companies.
The "Kumho Neighbor Village Development Project" is a project promoted since 2022 through cooperation between Gyeongbuk Province and Yeongcheon City to overcome local extinction and population structure imbalance.
Starting in 2023, Gyeongbuk TP has taken charge of the software business sector, setting the top priority to create a stable living foundation based on convenience facilities and regionally specialized resources in Kumho-eup.
In particular, the project is focusing on five key vitality areas of the Neighbor Village: ▲ youth job creation ▲ expansion of youth housing ▲ improvement of living conditions ▲ community revitalization ▲ activities to attract youth.
Through this project, in 2023, support was provided to 20 youth startup companies, 1 relocation company, and 2 scale-up companies. This year, support is planned for 9 youth companies, 2 relocation companies, and 1 scale-up company, with plans to recruit 5 youth startups in the second half of the year.
Ha In-seong, Director of Gyeongbuk TP, said, “We will create a favorable environment for young entrepreneurs to work and take the lead in establishing a stable regional foundation through comprehensive support, thereby leading the local era.”
