This year’s Dong-A Eoreuni Day event was held at the Dong-A Socio Group Seoul headquarters, where about 1,000 employees work, including Dong-A Socio Holdings, Dong-A ST, Dong-A Pharmaceutical, Dong-A Otsuka, and DA Information. Last year, the event was also held not only at the headquarters but at STGen Bio and Dong-A ST Songdo Campus in Songdo, Incheon, as well as the Biotech Research Center. This year, Dong-A Eoreuni Day events are also planned at Korea Shin Dong Industrial in Dalseong-gun, Daegu, and Dong-A ST Daegu Campus.
At the event, various programs were offered to bring joy to employees, including the Happiness Discovery Zone where participants could receive scratch-off lottery tickets with no losing tickets, the Sports Zone featuring activities like golf to loosen up stiff bodies, and the Science Zone which measured stress and physical balance to provide customized solutions. Notably, this year’s event included ‘Petmily Day,’ a pet-friendly event that received positive responses from employees. The rooftop garden Rosarium at the headquarters, covered with grass, was used as a one-day pet kindergarten space where dogs could run freely. Additionally, ‘Plogging’ was held near the company along Seongbukcheon Stream, where employees walked with their dogs while picking up waste and pet droppings.
A representative from Dong-A Socio Holdings said, “Dong-A Eoreuni Day was planned to convey support and encouragement to employees who have been working diligently, with the themes of Monday blues and communication. Based on last year’s satisfaction survey and internal analysis, we aim to develop this event beyond just a fun occasion for employees to laugh and enjoy, into a year-round healthcare program that helps employees take care of their bodies and minds, thereby building a healthy and happy corporate culture.”
