Gwangju Bank will temporarily suspend all financial services for 12 hours from 2 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the 12th of next month due to the replacement of its new IT system.
During the temporary service suspension period, all transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers using automated machines (CD/ATM), electronic financial transactions such as internet banking, phone banking, and smart banking, as well as payment transactions using check cards, cash IC cards, and debit cards will be suspended.
However, purchases made with credit cards and incident reporting services through the customer center will remain available as usual.
Kim Dong-seop, Head of the Digital Development Department, said, “We especially ask customers to complete cash withdrawals and remittances in advance to minimize inconvenience during the temporary service suspension period,” and added, “We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the system transition work due to the establishment of the new IT system, and we will repay our customers with more convenient services.”
