Hapcheon-gun to Participate in the 2024 Smart Return-to-Farming and Return-to-Village Expo

Promotion of Hapcheon through Return-to-Farming and Return-to-Village Consultations and Sale of Agricultural Specialties

It was announced on the 22nd that they participated in the Y-Farm Expo 2024 Smart Returning to Farming and Rural Areas Youth Startup Fair held at the Suwon Convention Center in Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam.

This event was hosted by Yonhap News Agency and NongHyup, with participation from 107 local governments, institutions, and organizations nationwide to promote returning to farming and rural policies and local specialties of each region.

Additionally, Hapcheon-gun operated an integrated booth with Gyeongsangnam-do, providing consultations on returning to farming and rural areas, selling agricultural specialties to visitors, and promoting Hapcheon’s representative tourist attractions, receiving positive responses.

Lee Jae-sook, Director of Agricultural Policy Division, said, “Through this expo, we hope to raise awareness of Hapcheon-gun among prospective returnees to farming and rural areas nationwide and serve as an opportunity to increase interest and change perceptions about returning to farming and rural living.”
