Auxiliary Events Including Rural Experience Activities Held

The 15th Gyeongsangnam-do Women Farmers' Conference, organized by the Korea Women Farmers Association of Sacheon-si, Gyeongnam, will be held on the 24th at Samcheonpo Bridge Park in Sacheon-si.

Under the theme "The Future of Aerospace! The Dream of Smart Agriculture! Together with Gyeongnam Women Farmers," the event is expected to be attended by women farmer members from 18 cities and counties, as well as guests.

This conference will feature programs aimed at fostering unity and strengthening the capabilities of women farmers, including sports events, singing contests, and congratulatory performances, along with side events such as riding the Sacheon Sea Cable Car, exhibiting and selling agricultural specialties, and rural experience activities.

Chairperson Jo Jeong-rye said, "Currently, rural areas are facing many difficulties such as aging populations, climate change, and labor shortages, but when women farmers unite with one heart and one mind, they can overcome these challenges," adding, "I hope many women farmers will participate together to make this a meaningful occasion for harmony."

Mayor Park Dong-sik stated, "It is an immense honor to hold the Gyeongnam Women Farmers' Conference in Sacheon-si alongside the opening of the Aerospace Administration," and promised, "We will take great interest and provide support in various fields to create a happy rural community."
