According to Zigbang on the 22nd, the total number of apartment move-ins nationwide next month is estimated at 22,605 units. This is 9,044 units more than the move-ins this month (13,561 units). Although the perceived increase seems significant, it is similar to the same period last year (23,803 units).

By region, the move-in volume is 8,238 units in the metropolitan area and 14,367 units in other regions. The proportion of other regions reaches 64%. In particular, Gyeongnam has 4,640 units, the second highest nationwide. This is the largest volume of move-ins in Gyeongnam since December 2019 (10,858 units). Move-ins will take place at Changwon Central Park Eilinui Tteul (1,470 units) and Doosan We've the Zenith Yangsan (1,368 units), among others. In the metropolitan area, 5,675 units in Gyeonggi and 2,563 units in Incheon will be occupied. There are no move-ins in Seoul. Gyeonggi has the highest number of move-ins nationwide. A total of 12 complexes will be occupied, including Osan (1,713 units), Yangju (1,010 units), Anseong (705 units), Pyeongtaek (665 units), and Gwangju (416 units). In Incheon, four complexes including Hillstate Songdo The Sky and Yeongjong International City Seohan Idaeum will be occupied.

The move-in volume in June is 30,090 units, the highest in the first half of the year. This is 37% (8,385 units) more than in May. With active new apartment move-ins mainly in the metropolitan area, interest from actual demanders in the metropolitan area is expected to be high.

Kim Eun-seon, lead of Zigbang Big Data Lab, explained, "As the prices of newly launched apartments have recently increased, demanders are focusing on purchasing new apartments through trading of pre-sale rights in occupied complexes," adding, "This interest is expected to remain high for the time being."
