Relay Grand Sale Success... Transaction Volume Up to 23 Times
Over 70% Female Customers Aged 20-30
New Order Customers Also Increased by 55%
Abley's transaction volume this month has shown rapid growth compared to last year. This is attributed to increased fashion demand as hot weather continues nationwide, with daytime highs around 30 degrees Celsius.
Style commerce platform Abley, operated by Abley Corporation, announced on the 22nd that shopping mall transaction volume surged due to increased clothing demand. According to Abley, from the 1st to the 15th of this month, shopping mall transaction volume increased by 260% compared to the same period last year. Among these, new order customers increased by 55% year-on-year.
Abley analyzed that the success of the seasonal event, '2024 Spring·Summer (SS) Season Relay Grand Sale,' was a key factor. During the event, the transaction volume of 'Maybe Baby' increased 23 times compared to the previous week, and brands such as ▲Underbee (830%) ▲Baon (605%) ▲K-Club (385%) also saw a sharp rise in transaction volume. In particular, brands ▲Edmore (274%) ▲Autumn (246%) ▲Dailyjoo (233%) ▲Gogosing (183%) set their highest sales records during the event period.
Additionally, with the recent influx of medium to large shopping malls, transaction volume among 2030 female customers with purchasing power surged. The proportion of customers in their 20s and 30s among new shopping mall customers on Abley exceeded 70%. Abley emphasized that purchases by women aged 25 to 34 increased sharply.
Some shopping malls achieved record-high transaction volumes by connecting customers and malls through 'Artificial Intelligence (AI) personalized recommendation technology.' The transaction volume of the shopping mall 'Inarrow' from April 1 to 15 increased 17.7 times compared to the same period last year, and 'Mood Label' and 'Musefit' also saw transaction volume increases of 685% and 600%, respectively, during the same period.
Abley plans to continue supporting shopping mall growth. Based on big data secured through users, it will propose promotion and marketing strategies to expand sales for each shopping mall. In addition, various uses of technology for seller growth, such as 'shopping mall-exclusive AI profiles,' are being reviewed.
Jung Min Cho, Head of Abley Trend Fashion Office, said, "Following Abley's record-breaking transaction volume exceeding 1 trillion won last year and ranking first in sales among women's fashion platforms, we are continuing a steep growth trajectory by setting new monthly shopping mall transaction records this year as well. As new shopping mall entries accelerate with this growth trend, we will strengthen connections between customers and sellers with Abley's unique technological capabilities and lead the shopping mall and fashion industries."
