Nowon-gu, Seoul (Mayor Oh Seung-rok) announced that it will hold the '2024 Nowon-gu Job Fair' at Deungnamu Neighborhood Park on April 30th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This fair is organized into various themed zones such as ▲Recruitment Zone ▲Related Organizations Zone ▲Experience Zone, allowing visitors to actively participate by finding booths that suit their individual purposes.

First, in the ‘Recruitment Zone,’ where companies and job seekers can meet and communicate directly, 41 outstanding companies from various fields including Hyundai Catering System, CJ Freshway, Sesco, Bodyfriend, Kyowon Kumon, Coupang Fulfillment Service, and Amorepacific will participate, offering job seekers a wide range of options.

Additionally, a ‘one-on-one customized interview’ tailored to job seekers’ characteristics such as age and job type will be conducted to help them fully showcase their abilities and experiences.

Related local employment organizations (19 in total) such as Nowon Job Counseling Center, Youth Job Center, Seoul Northern Employment Welfare+ Center, Induk University Job Center, and Seoul Women’s University University Job Plus Project Group will also participate. Based on promoting these various hidden organizations, they plan to assist job seekers with employment placement and registration.

In the ‘Experience Zone,’ various side events will be held. Unique programs such as ▲Personal Color analysis to find colors that harmonize with an individual’s skin tone ▲Employment Tarot ▲AR/VR job experiences incorporating artificial intelligence technology ▲Nowon Makers One 3D printer and pen experience will provide both fun and hands-on experience.

Furthermore, beverages will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis to those who pre-register, and participants who complete missions through the stamp tour will receive prizes, also on a first-come, first-served basis.

The ‘2024 Job Fair’ is designed to provide quality jobs to job seekers and offer companies opportunities to recruit excellent talent. It aims to actively extend support to the youth, who are particularly struggling due to prolonged employment difficulties, thereby expanding employment opportunities.

Post-event support will also be provided to job seekers who participated in the fair. For those not hired during the event, individual counseling and rematching support will be offered along with continuous employment information.

Mayor Oh Seung-rok said, “I hope this event will provide an opportunity for excellent companies and talents to meet and coexist, serving as a catalyst to revitalize the local economy,” and added, “We will continue to implement policies that can truly help job seekers.”
