Held on the 19th at COEX Starfield Library, inviting about 20 people including severely bedridden disabled individuals, their families, and caregivers
On the 19th, the 'Kim Jang-hoon's Lying Down Concert' for people with severe disabilities was held at the COEX Starfield Library in Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jo Seong-myeong).
Hosted by singer Kim Jang-hoon and sponsored by Gangnam-gu, this concert, which began last year, has continued to Gimpo Airport, Daegu Airport, and Ilsan One Mount, positively influencing the improvement of disability awareness.
In celebration of Disability Day on the 20th, the concert was held again this year in Gangnam-gu. About 20 people, including severely bedridden disabled individuals, their families, and caregivers, watched the performance lying down in the first row of the audience seats.
Visually impaired pianist Lee Ki-hyun and chanson singer Monsieur Go (Go Han-seung) joined Kim Jang-hoon on stage.
Jo Seong-myeong, Mayor of Gangnam-gu, stated, “I hope this concert held at the COEX Starfield Library, a bustling area in the city center, will greatly contribute to improving disability awareness. We will continue to do our best to create a Gangnam where people with disabilities can live healthily and happily.”
