Korea Airports Corporation Partners with Naver to Expand Services to Airports Nationwide

At Naver, users will soon be able to easily check flight information, parking guidance, and more just by searching for airport names.

Korea Airports Corporation announced on the 19th that it will expand the AI-based service providing popular data and information for airport users, developed in collaboration with Naver, to 14 airports nationwide (excluding Incheon Airport).

When users search for the name of each airport in the Naver search bar, AI analyzes data on frequently searched keywords by airport users and displays the relevant information.

The accessibility has been enhanced through the 'Quick Access' tab, allowing users to quickly and easily check flight information, parking guidance, airport facilities, and more. Additionally, a new section called 'Useful Airport Information' provides details on prohibited items for carry-on luggage, mobility services for passengers with disabilities, pet accompaniment methods, medical facility information, and more.

Previously, in July last year, the corporation, together with Naver, piloted this service at Gimpo and Jeju Airports by analyzing 320,000 annual data entries received through the corporation’s customer complaint channel 'Voice of Customers (VOC)'?the first public institution to do so?and frequently searched keywords by airport users using AI to display relevant information during searches. This service has now been expanded to airports nationwide.

A representative from Korea Airports Corporation stated, "This is a representative case of implementing data-driven administration by combining public airport data with private sector AI technology," adding, "We will continue to strive to provide the best service to our customers."
