Kim Yong-tae of the People Power Party born in 1990: "The study group with Kim Jae-seop and others should not be framed as non-mainstream"

"Pure Study Group"
"Do Not Agree with the Frame of Strengthening Non-Medical Faction"

Kim Yong-tae of the People Power Party born in 1990: "The study group with Kim Jae-seop and others should not be framed as non-mainstream" Kim Yong-tae, People Power Party Pocheon-Gapyeong Elected Representative

Born in 1990 and known as an MZ politician and the youngest elected member of the People Power Party, Kim Yong-tae, the elected representative for Pocheon-Gapyeong, revealed that he is promoting a study group for newly elected young politicians, including Kim Jae-seop, born in the 1980s and elected for Dobong-gap.

On the 19th, on KBS Radio's 'Jeon Jong-cheol's Jeonggyeok Sisa,' Kim stated, "As a member of the legislature, this is a pure study group to study each section and area and listen to voices from the field to help with state affairs," and he disagreed with the framing that views the young lawmakers' study group as a consolidation of anti-Yoon factions.

He explained, "There is no pro-Yoon or anti-Yoon faction in the party right now, and it is not important. What matters is analyzing the causes of defeat in this general election and making changes, not dividing and showing a split appearance by factions."

Regarding the harsh criticism from young lawmakers, he said, "Young politicians probably have many concerns," and added, "The premise of their harsh criticism for the party is that they ultimately want the party to do well and hope the Yoon Seok-yeol government receives more love from the people. Because of this premise, there are criticisms that they speak too aggressively." He continued, "There are harsh criticisms that genuinely wish the party well and those that serve personal political interests. I will strive to raise voices for the party and so that the president can be loved by more people, balancing that boundary."

He also explained the past history of nominating people who flattered power and tried to appear favorable to those in power. Kim said, "In the past, for young people to participate in politics, it was more about conforming to a structure that represented power holders and received nominations rather than the fundamental spirit of democracy representing the people." He added, "Despite being young, I went through a five-person primary and a runoff primary and was chosen by the people to reach this position. I hope this process becomes a good experience for many young politicians."

Furthermore, he stated, "I believe that the ruling party's self-purification function is to convey various voices within the party and the people's voices well to the president," and promised, "I will do my best to deliver the people's voices."
