Bodycam and helmet Bluetooth specialist company Pofact announced on the 17th that it is selling the product 'LIVE ST20,' developed in collaboration with SK Telecom. This product is equipped with SK Telecom's 'T Livecaster' software.
Pofact's LIVE ST20 real-time bodycam offers basic bodycam functions such as 2K video recording, photo capture, IP67 rating, night vision, and replaceable battery, as well as real-time video streaming capabilities using wireless communication technologies like LTE and Wi-Fi.
The LIVE ST20 real-time bodycam fundamentally supports video streaming via the Real-Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP). This allows integration with video control systems used by clients to watch bodycam footage immediately.
The LIVE ST20 product equipped with SK Telecom's software streams video not through the conventional method but via the T Livecaster app.
SK Telecom's T Livecaster is a mobile video monitoring solution that enables real-time monitoring of high-definition, low-latency video captured from various devices such as smartphones, drones, and IP cameras over 5G/LTE networks. When using LTE bodycams, it allows real-time monitoring of high-quality video and location information, while also enabling voice communication on-site through an intercom function, thereby improving work efficiency.
Additionally, the AI video analysis feature is built-in by default, automatically detecting safety helmet usage and hazardous situations such as fires. When used together with mobile CCTV and drone stations, it enables comprehensive three-dimensional on-site surveillance.
Kang Min-sik, CEO of Pofact, stated, “With the enforcement of the Serious Accident Punishment Act, corporate interest in establishing safe working environments is increasing. In this context, demand for bodycam products is also rising, and through collaboration with SKT, we expect to provide reliable and convenient services.”
Meanwhile, Pofact is currently supplying the LIVE ST20 product equipped with SK Telecom's T Livecaster app to major government offices and military units.
