On the 18th, JTBC's 'Case Manager' reported that last November, a man in his 50s, Mr. A, who visited a bathhouse, filed a lawsuit seeking 1 million won in damages against the bathhouse, claiming his hair got tangled in a roller comb. At the time, Mr. A asked the bathhouse's convenience store manager for help when his hair got caught in the roller comb, and the manager used tweezers to untangle the hair.

However, after repeatedly expressing his gratitude and leaving, Mr. A filed a damage claim lawsuit against the bathhouse a few days later. The reason for the lawsuit was "suffering damage such as hair being pulled out due to the provision of an excessively cheap roller comb." Mr. A explained, "My hair fell out because of a 1,380 won roller comb, and the comb's body had gaps that made it easy for hair to get caught." He added, "Because of this, hair was pulled out, and the left front part of my forehead became red and inflamed."

Mr. A also complained, "During the process of removing hair from the roller comb, I was naked for 20 minutes and felt shame as a woman," and "I was exposed to the cold as is, resulting in a severe cold with bleeding from my neck."

In response, the bathhouse stated, "The problem occurred because the customer forcibly used the roller comb while his hair was wet," and "The roller comb provided is used in many households and businesses nationwide. There has never been a single incident or accident caused by the roller comb from the company." They continued, "You said you felt shame and caught a cold, but in the bathhouse changing room, most people are naked rather than dressed, so we do not understand how you felt shame." They also rebutted, "The changing room was heated at the time, and we cannot accept the claim that you caught a cold because you were left unattended for 20 minutes."

Netizens who heard the story reacted with comments such as "This is the worst of the worst," "The world is wide and there are all kinds of people," "Most people would think it was their own fault," "Shouldn't the bathhouse file a countersuit?" and "It's surprising that this is even grounds for a lawsuit."
