Scheduled for the 22nd and 25th of next month... Completely Free
Seongbuk-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) will conduct dog training sessions with professional trainers on the 22nd and 25th of next month. This training expands on last year's dog walking education by adding specialized content such as analyzing the dog's temperament and environment, and presenting correction methods for problematic behaviors.
The training will take place at Bukaksan Neighborhood Park (226-68 Seongbuk-dong). Dog owners and their dogs will form teams to share concerns about problematic behaviors (separation anxiety, aggression, socialization, etc.) and receive correction advice from experts. The sessions will cover how to walk dogs properly and pet etiquette to follow in daily life.
The training will be held from 10 AM to 12 PM on the day of the session, and any Seongbuk-gu resident who owns a registered dog can apply via a Google Form. The application period is from April 22 to May 16. A total of 30 teams, 15 per session, will be selected through a random draw and notified individually. The training is completely free of charge.
For further inquiries regarding the training, contact the Animal Protection Team of the Seongbuk-gu Regional Economy Division or Bau Raum.
