Hydrogen and Plastic Recycling Technologies Draw Attention

Lotte Chemical and Lotte Fine Chemical announced on the 19th that they will participate in 'CHINAPLAS 2024,' Asia's largest international plastics and rubber industry exhibition. The exhibition will be held in Shanghai, China, from the 23rd (local time) to the 26th, with about 4,000 companies worldwide, including major global chemical companies, participating.

Under the theme 'SEED FOR TOMORROW,' Lotte Chemical and Lotte Fine Chemical will introduce high value-added specialty materials, green business technologies, and the eco-friendly material brand 'ECOSEED.'

They will install a large media wall at their 307㎡ exhibition booth to showcase videos introducing Lotte Chemical's core values, products, and technologies.

In the Specialty Solutions Zone within the booth, they will exhibit specialty materials for mobility such as ultra-high impact PP with high impact strength characteristics, design materials applicable for both interior and exterior using eco-friendly paint-free materials, as well as highly transparent medical PP, EVA for solar encapsulant with excellent adhesion, and eco-friendly low-crystallinity PET that is mechanically and chemically recyclable.

In the Green Technology Zone, technologies related to pyrolysis oil from waste plastics, clean hydrogen extraction, and transportation technologies will be introduced. They will also showcase lithium-ion battery materials including battery pouch film, HDPE separator, cathode foil, copper foil, organic solvents for electrolytes, and battery component materials applied to electric vehicle platforms. The ECOSEED Zone, exhibiting eco-friendly material brand ECOSEED for the first time in China, will display actual products using various ECOSEED materials.
