On the 19th, Samsung Electronics DS Division announced on its Chinese website that it will participate in "Auto China 2024 (Beijing Motor Show)" held in Beijing, China, from the 25th to the 27th.
The Beijing Motor Show is a biennial event held alternately with the Shanghai Motor Show, and this year marks its return after four years following cancellation due to the spread of COVID-19.
Samsung Electronics DS Division is visiting the Beijing Motor Show for the first time. The Memory Business, System LSI Business, and Foundry Business units plan to exhibit automotive products respectively.
In the memory sector, they will showcase Low Power Double Data Rate (LPDDR) 5X, Auto Solid State Drives (SSD), and Universal Flash Storage (UFS) 3.1, among others.
In the system sector, they plan to introduce automotive processors and image sensors such as the Exynos Auto series and the ISOCELL series.
In the foundry sector, they will demonstrate foundry technology capable of mass-producing processors for automotive infotainment, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) processors, and sensors.
As the automotive semiconductor market grows, Samsung Electronics is continuously expanding related businesses by introducing related products. In September last year, they participated for the first time in the "IAA Mobility" held in Munich, Germany, showcasing automotive semiconductors and demonstrating their competitiveness.
