On the 18th, two days before Disability Day, the Gyeongnam Independent Living Rights Protection Committee held a rally calling for the abolition of discrimination against people with disabilities on the lane near the Choi Yoon-deok statue in front of Changwon Special City Hall, and marched in a single lane for about 1.5 km from the statue to the main gate of the Gyeongnam Provincial Government Office.
They demanded ▲ the construction of the Gyeongnam Disabled Persons' Hall ▲ securing budget for the basic plan to support deinstitutionalization and independent living for people with disabilities ▲ securing Gyeongnam-type income-guaranteed jobs for people with disabilities ▲ operation of regular mini-bus routes accessible to wheelchair users ▲ increasing voucher taxi subsidies and providing additional financial support at the road beside the city hall and in front of the provincial government office.
