Busan Port Authority Hosts 'Marine Fisheries Business and Public Service Contest'

Busan Port Authority (BPA, President Kang Jun-seok) announced on the 18th that it will jointly hold the "11th Marine and Fisheries Business and Public Service Contest" with the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and others from May 19 to June 21.


Since 2014, BPA has been hosting this contest annually with the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and related public institutions to discover creative ideas based on data, aiming to innovate administrative services and create new business opportunities.


This year's contest will be divided into three categories: ▲ Administrative Service/Business Idea Planning ▲ Product and Service Development ▲ Big Data Analysis.


Winners of the Grand Prize (1 team), Excellence Award (2 teams), and Merit Award (7 teams) will receive a total prize of 16 million KRW, certificates from the Minister of Oceans and Fisheries and the President of Busan Port Authority, and opportunities to advance to the finals of the 'Public Data Utilization Startup Competition' hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, as well as recommendations for startup support programs.
