Composed of 25 public officials aged 20-30, Grade 7 and below
In Cheonan City, Chungnam Province, 2030 young public officials gathered to develop creative policies.
On the 18th, the city announced the launch of the '2024 Dojeon Deoham Future Vision Group' and its commencement of full-scale activities.
The Future Vision Group is a policy research organization that fosters future talents who will lead changes in city administration and discovers creative ideas from young public officials. It is newly formed each year with about 25 public officials in their 20s and 30s, ranked Grade 7 or below.
Since its inception in 2016, now in its 8th term, the group has differentiated its operations by assigning new names to each cohort, such as Yeoljeongnarae, Tongtong Innovation, and Sangsang Nuri.
The newly launched 'Dojeon Deoham Future Vision Group' this year consists of 25 members across five divisions and plans to discover policy ideas reflecting Cheonan City's characteristics through various activities, including division discussions, until November.
Mayor Park Sang-don said, "I hope the Future Vision Group will boldly take on challenges to understand city administration and discover innovative policies," adding, "We will spare no support and interest to help young public officials grow into key talents who will develop Cheonan City."
