According to statistics from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, as of March 2024, Yangju City's population is 275,284, an increase of 24,568 people or 9.8% compared to 250,698 in March last year. In terms of growth rate, it ranks first in Gyeonggi Province, and in terms of population increase, it ranks second following Hwaseong City (27,681 people).
