EV Advanced Materials to Participate in Transparent LED Film at 'Korea Nara Market Expo 2024'

EV Advanced Materials (CEO Choi Dong-rak) announced on the 18th that it has been participating in the ‘Korea Public Procurement Expo 2024,’ held for three days from the 17th at KINTEX in Ilsan.

At the Public Procurement Expo, EV Advanced Materials showcased a 6mm high-resolution product that combines the characteristics of lightweight and thin transparent LED film with the functionality of automatic sliding doors.

The newly introduced Pitch 6mm product applies EV Advanced Materials’ unique OCR (transparent adhesive) technology, which is not possible with the perforated panel type used by other latecomers, and has been well received in the market. Additionally, a Pitch 8mm modular product intended for non-permanent use, mainly for rental business, was also presented.

EV Advanced Materials’ transparent display LED film ‘Actvision’ is a third-generation LED digital signage product in a thin, lightweight, and flexible film type. It boasts the industry’s highest transparency and is the only domestic product with a mass production system for ultra-high-resolution, large-area transparent LED film.

In 2021, it was selected as an excellent procurement product for the first time in Korea, and since then, it has built a strong supply record both to local governments nationwide and in the civilian market.

In December last year, the company’s latest high-resolution ‘Actvision’ Pitch 6mm product, incorporating its cutting-edge technology, was installed on the ‘Media Wall’ measuring 2 meters in height and 20 meters in length in the food street of Bukchang-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul.

Also, since December last year, the largest transparent LED display in Korea has been under installation in Gwangju Metropolitan City, currently in the final stages of construction, with an opening ceremony scheduled for the end of April.

This facility is expected to showcase a spectacular light show created through 400 sheets of transparent LED film, based on collaboration with video artists.

EV Advanced Materials is currently supplying transparent LED film to major domestic companies through OEM, and with orders secured that will reach 100% equipment operation rate in the second half of the year, it is promoting process automation and expanding equipment capacity (CAPA). Furthermore, ahead of full-scale overseas market entry, the recently completed website introduces past installation cases and differentiated technological capabilities, actively engaging in promotional activities.

An EV Advanced Materials official stated, “So far, ‘Actvision’ has been installed in about 10 locations including Incheon Metropolitan City’s 1883 Port Opening Rest Area, Mokpo City’s Gourmet Culture Gallery, and Bukchang-dong Food Street. This year, installations are planned in various places including the largest transparent LED display in Korea in Gwangju Metropolitan City.” He added, “We believe that participating in the ‘Public Procurement Expo 2024’ will serve as an opportunity to introduce and promote our new products based on excellent technology to the market, and we will strive for sustainable growth in the future.”
