Coupang announced on the 18th that it will expand the benefits given to subscribers of the 'Coupang Wow Card.' In addition to extending the maximum 4% cashback benefit on payments made at Coupang, Coupang Eats, and Coupang Play Store until October next year, it will also provide four types of Lotte Cinema discount coupons every month.

The Coupang Wow Card is a partnership card that can only be issued to members who have joined the Wow Membership. To enhance membership benefits, Coupang partnered with KB Kookmin Card and launched the card last October.

The Wow Card allows users to receive up to 52,000 KRW per month in Coupang Cash, with a maximum 4% cashback (2% basic cashback + 2% additional promotion) on payments made at Coupang, Coupang Eats, and Coupang Play Store, even without any previous month's spending requirements. For other affiliated merchants outside Coupang, up to 1.2% cashback (0.2% basic cashback + 1% additional promotion) is credited as Coupang Cash. Coupang explains that these cashback rates and limits offer industry-leading benefits.

Coupang will extend the Wow Card's maximum 4% cashback benefit on payments at Coupang, Coupang Eats, and Coupang Play Store, as well as the maximum 1.2% cashback on other affiliated merchants, for one more year until October next year. Originally, this additional cashback promotion was scheduled to be applied only until October this year. Accordingly, Wow Card users will be able to earn up to 52,000 KRW per month as before until October next year.

Additionally, Coupang has partnered with Lotte Cinema to provide Wow Card members with four types of discount coupons every month until October. These include six movie tickets purchasable for 10,000 KRW each, two 50% movie discount coupons, two popcorn purchase coupons worth 3,000 KRW each (M size), and six snack combo set discount coupons worth 2,000 KRW, all provided monthly.

A Coupang representative said, "We plan to continue collaborating with various online and offline partners to offer more benefits to Wow Card customers."
