On the 18th, S-Oil announced that it was selected as the No. 1 in the brand strategy category for five consecutive years and No. 1 in the gas station category for four consecutive years at the '2024 National Industry Awards.'
Organized by the Korea Institute for Industrial Policy Studies and sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the 'National Industry Awards' selects companies that contribute to national industrial development by enhancing competitiveness through management capabilities and differentiated products and services across a total of 34 categories.
S-Oil was recognized for its achievements in various marketing promotions based on an optimal business portfolio, large-scale facility investments ahead of competitors, systematic ESG management, and a differentiated brand identity.
S-Oil stated, "We are increasing operational efficiency based on a balanced business portfolio and excellent technological capabilities in the refining, petrochemical, and lubricants sectors," adding, "We are responding to changes in the energy market and promoting carbon emission reduction through the 9 trillion KRW-scale 'Shahin Project.'"
S-Oil is enhancing its brand influence by strengthening communication with consumers through offline and digital marketing utilizing the character 'Gudoil.'
