Kia's Language Connected... Winner of the '2024 Car Design Award'

Kia was recognized for the excellence of its overall design at the '2024 Car Design Award' held in Italy.

On the 17th (local time), Kia announced that it won the 'Brand Design Language' category at the 2024 Car Design Award ceremony held at the ADI Design Museum in Milan, Italy.

The Car Design Award is a design prize organized by the Italian automotive design magazine 'Auto and Design.' Kia was the final winner in the 'Brand Design Language' category, beating BMW, Toyota, Cupra, Lotus, and others among the three award categories.

Kia was highly praised for pursuing a consistent design direction through its product lineup including the EV9 and EV6, born from the design philosophy of 'Opposites United' (creative fusion of contrasting concepts), as well as various exhibitions. Previously, Kia’s EV9 won three of the world’s top automotive and design awards: '2024 World Car of the Year,' '2024 North American Car of the Year,' and the '2024 iF Design Award Gold.'

Karim Habib, Vice President of Kia Global Design, said, "This award is the result of recognizing the passion and dedication of numerous designers who have worked to strengthen Kia’s design influence," adding, "We will continue to strive to present innovative and sustainable future mobility designs."
