On the 18th, the Small and Medium Business Corporation announced that it signed a "Cooperative Agreement for Education Collaboration to Train Specialized Personnel for Smart Factories" with the Technology Information Promotion Agency at the agency's headquarters in Sejong.
Through this agreement, both organizations will actively cooperate in business management and technical education for companies selected in the smart factory dissemination and expansion project, as well as project evaluation and consulting education for smart factory experts.
Specifically, for about 1,200 companies selected in the ICT Convergence Smart Factory Dissemination and Expansion Project by the Technology Information Promotion Agency, online education related to business management such as "Smart Factory Project Execution Methods" and "Guidelines and Regulations" will be provided, along with offline hands-on technical education using the Small and Medium Business Corporation's Smart Factory Learning Center, tailored to different proficiency levels.
Additionally, for approximately 3,000 smart factory digital transformation (DX) experts, online education will be conducted to provide demand-customized consulting such as "Utilization Status Diagnosis" and "Advanced Planning Support" for companies that have implemented smart factories.
Cho Han-gyo, Director of Human Resource Development at the Small and Medium Business Corporation, said, "Since smart factories require convergent and complex technical knowledge, the dissemination of smart factories and the training of specialized personnel must occur simultaneously. We will create synergy through collaboration with the Technology Information Promotion Agency to maximize the effects of smart factory implementation."
