Proceeding with the concept of delivering memories to fans
Also featuring an exhibition of unreleased portraits of the members
The group BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) will hold a pop-up event called 'MONOCHROME' in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, from the 26th of this month until the 12th of next month.
On the 17th, Big Hit Music released several posters on BTS's official social media accounts, featuring black-and-white images taken before the members enlisted, along with the schedule and location of the 'BTS POP-UP : MONOCHROME' event.
The agency explained, "This pop-up is conceptualized as delivering memories with BTS to fans worldwide," adding, "It is inspired by the 'Memory Cloud,' a setting where precious memories of ARMY (BTS's fandom) and BTS are formed into clouds and stored inside a bottle."
The 'Memory Cloud' first appeared at a BTS fan meeting held in 2018. The black-and-white photos released this time are part of the 'Memory Cloud' prepared by BTS for their fans. Earlier, on the 15th, Big Hit Music also launched a virtual experience website designed as a logistics tracking webpage so that the 'Memory Cloud' could actually be delivered to ARMY.
According to the agency, the offline pop-up will offer various attractions, including exhibitions of unreleased portraits of the members and on-site events.
Meanwhile, all seven BTS members are currently serving in the military. Jin, who enlisted in December 2022, is the first member scheduled to be discharged in June.
