Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Pil-hyung) announced on the 17th that it will hold a family participation program, "Family Together, Healthy Picnic," at the Hongneung Neighborhood Park Children's Forest Experience Center on the 20th and 21st.
"Family Together, Healthy Picnic" is an experiential program designed to prevent picky eating in children and help them get closer to nature through various activities.
This program is divided into nutrition education and physical activity experiences. Nutrition education consists of activities such as ▲Mushroom Hide-and-Seek ▲Mushroom Sensory Exploration to prevent picky eating, while physical activity experiences include ▲Walking in the forest to observe flowers and trees ▲Finding leaf cards ▲Making tadpoles using natural materials, all conducted with a forest interpreter.
An official from the district said, "We prepared a program that the whole family can enjoy together for families who find it difficult to spend time with their children on weekdays," adding, "We hope this will be an opportunity to enjoy experiential activities in nature and help children develop healthy lifestyle habits."
