Seongbuk-gu, Customized Resident Education for Visiting Apartment Complexes

Seongbuk-gu, Customized Resident Education for Visiting Apartment Complexes

Seongbuk-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) announced on the 17th that it will conduct 'Visiting Customized Resident Education for Apartment Complexes' targeting residents of mandatory management apartment complexes to strengthen resident capabilities and revitalize community culture.

The district noted that apartment complexes account for 58% of housing types, and various civil complaints mainly arise around these apartment complexes. This education program was prepared to foster a mature community culture where residents cooperate and communicate to solve problems within the complex on their own, and to enhance the capabilities for apartment safety management and resolving common resident issues.

Applicants for the education are mandatory management apartment complexes. When the complex submits an application specifying the number of participants, education location, content, and schedule, the district arranges instructors and conducts the education. The education content includes ▲Life Safety (fire prevention, CPR, etc.) ▲Environmental Education (carbon neutrality, climate change, etc.) ▲Mental Health (stress and conflict management, communication, etc.) ▲Neighbor Communication (prevention of noise conflicts between floors, etc.) ▲Other topics requested by the complex.

The education is conducted in the first and second half of the year, and applications from complexes wishing to receive education have been accepted since the 15th. More detailed information can be found on the Seongbuk-gu Office website. For inquiries, please contact the Housing Policy Division of Seongbuk-gu Office by phone.
